Investing in unlisted shares has become an increasingly popular strategy among savvy investors looking to tap into early-stage growth stories. But once the transaction is complete, many are left wondering: Where exactly do these shares show up in my demat account?
Unlike listed stocks that reflect instantly and are easy to track, unlisted shares can be a bit elusive at first glance. This article will help demystify how and where to locate your unlisted holdings within your demat account - so you know your investment is safe and exactly where it should be.
The unlisted securities held in the demat will not be visible on Kite. They can be viewed on Console by visiting console.zerodha.com/portfolio/holdings.
The bonus shares will get credited under a temporary ISIN and will not be allowed for trading purposes immediately.
However, it will be reflected under the holding report as LST PEN which means Listing Pending (which is yet to be available for trading i.e. you can not sell those shares)

Once the bonus shares are listed they will be available for trading and will reflect in the portfolio holding.
The bonus shares will be available in holding but will not reflect in the portfolio till it's available for trading.
Off-market transactions will appear in your holdings once they are reflected in your Demat account.
